What’s the Cause About?

Act of Goodwill and its members have visited over 50 different orphanages outside of America, however, we were recently told by various Muslims what about Muslim Orphans living in America. Have you ever considered that, do you know they are living in Foster care without any proper Muslim guidance? They don’t know anything about Halal, they don’t go to weekend class for Quran at the Mosque, some have forgotten they are even Muslim. Instead, most Muslim kids end up going to church.

Why Does it Matter?

Do you think there’s anything kinder and nobler action than helping an orphan ???

The Messenger of Allah, Peace Be Upon Him, said, ‘The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill-treated. I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Garden like that,’  holding up his two fingers together !!!

For Every Muslim that gives to charity, this should be the #1 priority. We give money to mosques, and now just within 5 Borough of New York City, we have over 300 mosques and Islamic Centers. We spend millions of dollars in decoration and renovation so Muslims will have a place of Worship. What would it matter, if the future generation of Muslims will not use it ???

It matters because we have a moral obligation to help fellow Muslim Orphans by giving them the opportunity to learn and understand Islam. How can we look to help others when in our own Hometown we have orphans that are neglected with no proper Guidance?

How will your Donation Make a Difference?

We need to start somewhere, based on research and study we have determined that it will cost $975,000 US Dollars to help start helping Muslim Orphans within New York City only. It will allow us to Purchase a House, renovate it with proper city code to make it acceptable for Muslim Orphans to reside and Provide Salary for Muslim Foster Parents to overlook them. If they are school age, provide tuition to attend Private Islamic School and if going to Public school ensure afterschool Islamic courses are provided. It will also cover Food/Clothing/Gifts for children’s throughout the year.
