What’s The Cause About?Â
Imagine you have been living as a model citizen for the past 30+ years and out of nowhere you are placed in custody and taken to jail and told you will be deported. Now imagine you have 4 young children who were born/raised in the USA and seeing their mother being taken by Immigration Police & told she’s never coming back. This is a story about #Bajiii whose family has been torn apart due to this crisis. She suffered injuries while being detained, her children went through unimaginable pain and suffering that we pray no child/parent should go through. We have joined forces with various nonprofits to come together and show our love for Bajiii and ensure her a life of freedom with dignity.
Why it Matters?
It Matters because “it could have been the US” she did nothing wrong to be placed in such a situation however unfortunately she was. They granted her legal status with no apology for placing her in such a condition for 1 year, while she suffered in jail her children suffered as well. They stopped going to school, took odd jobs to make ends meet, and lived in conditions that no child should.Â
If you watch the video, the children lived in conditions where there was no toilet or shower in the basement. They used Gym membership to take shower and utilize the bathroom. Can you imagine living in such a condition ??? It’s our moral duty to help our fellow human beings in crisis.Â
How You Can Help?
We are looking to raise $20,000 US Dollars. The money will be used towards buying her an UBER & ensuring that she never ever have to depend on anyone for help. She has years of experience as an UBER/Taxi driver so giving her this will ensure her a life of financial freedom from begging others for help.Â
