IFTAR & EID BEHIND BARS – 2019

Every Year, you’re donations allow for Muslim who are behind Bars to receive Iftar ( Food Meals ) during early morning hours ( start of fast ) and Sunset ( Break of Fasting ) as Prison meals hours do not change due to Ramadan and the funds help provide meals during those times.
Just a reminder that some of these Muslims are new converts who don’t have family support and most of them come from poor families. There are more than 100 of these inmates who are coming together every night and not enough food to go around.
A portion of the funds will also go towards buying Kufi’s, Topi’s, Tasbeeh’s, Mussalah, Clean Undergarments, and other necessities to assist them in performing Taraweeh and other daily Salah. There is a hafiz inmate who leads them in Taraweeh every night.
