Project : Zakāt al-Fiṭr Refugees Families in Madinah
Notice: Test mode is enabled. While in test mode no live donations are processed.
ALL Funds collected will be used to help Refugees Families living within the Holy City of Madinah.
Remember: zakāt al-fiṭr is a SEPARATE zakāt from our annual zakāt, and its purpose is to cleanse our fast of any mistakes and purify our deed of Ramaḍān to be accepted.
$10 Per Person should be given for all members of the families including young children and elderly.
A reminder to all of us that zakāt al-fiṭr is an obligation upon all Muslims who can afford it – even those who didn’t fast for valid reasons (such as the young or elderly). It must be given before the Eid prayer, and it is allowed to give earlier. The Fiqh Council of North America has suggested ten dollars per person as the minimum, and whoever can give more may do so.
